Thomas Mueller explains the reasons for rejectioning English clubs

Bayern Munich star revealed, German Thomas Mueller, why he rejected offers of top English clubs, last summer, before locking the door and extend his contract with the Bavarian Club.

Muller, 26, has signed a new contract with his team last December, will be extended until 2021, amid reports that provide Manchester formal offer worth 100 million euros for his services.

In an exclusive interview to the newspaper "Abendzeitung" German said: "Yes, there have been offers, but considering the sports side of the issue, we are the top 3 clubs in Europe along with Barcelona and Real Madrid.

He crowned the World Cup with his national team: "the English might have money, but we have to see whether this money will enable them to return to the top of the pyramid in Europe again."

He concluded: "from a purely mathematical point of view, I can say that an extension to my contract here was an easy decision."

It should be noted that Mueller currently offers the best Bayern Munich since his escalation of youth in 2009, with a record 15 goals in the Bundesliga so far, is the best althedivih figures despite 13 rounds remain on the end of the season.
